(I banked a couple of posts because I was afraid I wouldn’t follow through with this, so any confusing backdating is me trying to keep track of that in case anything topical and/or outdated things are mentioned)
This will be a small repository for the photography I engage in. I’m not setting forth with much of an intention beyond posting here when I feel like it. Maybe in the end it’ll last only this introduction and then be lost to time. With only Instagram to my name otherwise, and with the blistering acceleration of that platform’s enshittification I don’t really feel like I have a place in the world. I don’t really make content in the way Instagram (which is rapidly turning into YouTube shorts which is itself just TikTok?), and I don’t really want to. But I do make photos and I do write and I do want someone to see them. I just don’t want EVERYONE to be REQUIRED by mandate of an algorithm to see them. So let’s kick it off from there. Maybe this will be like Tumblr or Livejournal. Maybe it will survive. Maybe it will be nothing at all.
